The Word Is With Me
Jesus came near then, and He still walks with you today.
God’s Word was never meant to stay only on the pages of a Bible.
Jesus came near. He stepped into this world, walked among ordinary people, and brought the love and truth of God into everyday life.
And He is still near today.
As you read His Word, pray, make decisions, love others, and walk through ordinary moments, Jesus is with you.
You are not simply learning about Him. You are learning to walk with Him.
As you begin this journey, open your heart to the beautiful truth that the Word who came near then is still with you now.
“And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.”
Jesus is not only part of your faith story—He is present in your everyday life. His Word still speaks, His presence still leads, and He walks with you today.
The Word With Me
Take a few quiet moments to listen before continuing through today's journey.
It is easy to think of Jesus as someone we read about in Scripture—someone who walked dusty roads, spoke to crowds, healed the hurting, and sat with ordinary people long ago.
But Jesus is not only part of the past.
He is with you in the life you are living today.
Think about your ordinary day—the decisions you make, the people you encounter, the responsibilities you carry, and the moments no one else sees.
What would change if you became more aware that Jesus is present in all of it?
As you read His Word, don't only ask, “What does this teach me?”
Also ask, “Jesus, how can I walk this out with You today?”
Jesus,
Thank You for coming near.
Thank You that You are not distant from my everyday life. Your Word still speaks, Your presence still leads, and You are with me wherever I go.
Help me not only to read Your Word, but to live it.
Teach me to recognize You in ordinary moments, to listen for Your direction, and to follow You in the choices I make each day.
Let Your truth shape my thoughts, my words, and the way I love others.
Jesus, walk with me today, and help me walk with You.
Amen.
