Trust You in the Heavy
When the weight feels too great, Jesus invites you to place it in His hands.
Not every burden is visible.
Some are carried quietly behind a smile.
If today feels heavier than you expected, you are not walking alone.
Jesus already knows the weight you're carrying, and He is inviting you to rest in His strength instead of your own.
Take a deep breath.
This journey is simply about taking one step with Him.
“Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.”
Jesus never asked you to carry what only He can carry.
Trust You in the Heavy
Take a few quiet moments to listen before continuing through today's journey.
Sit with the words of the song for a moment. What line stayed with you? Where in your day today does the heaviness press hardest — a worry for someone you love, a decision you can't yet make, a grief that hasn't lifted?
Trusting Jesus in the heavy isn't pretending the burden is light. It is remembering, in the middle of the weight, that He is stronger than what you're carrying and closer than your next breath.
Jesus,
You see every burden I am carrying today. You know what has quietly settled on my heart before I even spoke a word.
I place it in Your hands now — the worry, the waiting, the weight I cannot fix. Remind me that Your strength does not run out when mine does.
Walk with me through this day, one gentle step at a time.
Amen.
Name the one burden that feels heaviest right now. Say it out loud or write it down. Then pray these simple words over it:
"Jesus, I place this in Your hands."
You don't have to solve it today. One faithful step is enough.
You were never meant to carry today alone.
Jesus is already carrying tomorrow.
